The new Sage 50 HR 2007 software suite now ships to small businesses in the UK with embedded MySQL database technology. A global agreement between the Sage Group plc and MySQL AB to this effect had been signed last year, as part of which two other Sage products currently being developed will also come with embedded MySQL- the Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll.

Sage 50 HR 2007 is being made to enable small businesses to better manage their human resources by recording, tracking and storing key information, such as employee details, training, time keeping, and professional skills in one place. Companies can easily update and analyse key HR information, which is vital in helping the companies make well-informed decisions and comply with legal guidelines.

One of the key advantages of using MySQL is its low maintenance, ease of use and cost-effectiveness. Sage 50 HR 2007 integrates employee details with Sage Payroll 2007, so that information created in Sage Payroll can be exported to Sage 50 HR.
