Duplo International has introduced two items to its range of Duprinters with the DP-C A4 series of entry level digital duplicators.
The two models in this series, the DP-C100 and DP-C105 Duprinters, provide significant operational, productivity and cost benefits for multiple prints onto uncoated stocks for applications such as newsletters, promotional leaflets, stationery and classroom handouts.
The DP-C100 and DP-C105 include new inks and a new master material, which deliver improved print quality at 300 x 300 dpi, presenting clearer, crisper images and greater solids coverage. The new DP-C models also offer reduced running costs through a higher yield of masters per roll.
The new DP-C models boast of top print speeds of up to 130 sheets per minute, thus boosting productivity. They also offer a 25% increase in energy efficiency, producing zero heat levels.
The DP-C range has a compact footprint of just 1040mm wide which is 18% shorter than its predecessors, which lets duplicators in this series to fit into small places.

The SharkCopier LS standalone manual tower DVD/CD publishing systems from Vinpower Digital is a collaborative effort with LightScribe that offers, among others, the capability to inscribe text or full graphic labels directly onto CDs and DVDs without being connected to a computer. It can be used as a publishing system by first creating the disc image art on a computer, then loading the image onto the standalone duplicator for disc label duplication.
The duplicator only needs a suitable electrical output. To use it, the following steps need to be followed: a) load the LightScribe capable CDs or DVDs into the drives, with the label side face down b) the duplicator inscribes the programmed image onto the discs c) flip the disc over in the same drive to the duplicating side d) the duplicator copies the selected data.
