Digital Projection International (DPI) has added 1920 x 1200 resolution models to the company’s iVision 30 and dVision 30 series of projectors. The WUXGA resolution displays present a 16:10 aspect ratio and can display full 1080p video with no scaling required.

The iVision 30-WUXGA projector weighs only 6.5 pounds; uses a 300W UHP lamp to deliver up to 3100 ANSI lumens and 4000:1 contrast in the WUXGA configuration. The new products also include the company’s ColorMax calibration technology, HDCP compliant HDMI and DVI inputs, and a variety of analog video connections.

The dVision 30 series offers 4300 ANSI lumens and up to 7500:1 contrast. A selection of six high quality lenses covering a throw distance range from .75:1 up to 6.5:1 makes installation of this projector extremely easy.
Leaders in digital projection technology, inFocus has introduced the IN3100 series of meeting room multimedia projectors that features the DisplayLink technology, using a standard mini-USB cable to instantly synchronize laptop with projector. In addition, the IN3100 series uses a new LiteTouch keypad that is visible only when needed.  Essentially, the project makes it easy to connect and collaborate and removes the guesswork in synchronizing the computer and the projector, thus speeding up meetings.

The new keypad features exclusive backlit touch-sensitive keypad, thereby giving the projector a sleek look. The series will include projectors offering brightness in the range of 3000-3500 lumens, with either XGA or WXGA resolution and 2000:1 contrast. The series also supports HDMI and LiteShow II wireless connectivity. Projectors in this series will be available from next month and pricing is expected to be about $1499.
TechRepublic has posted the VoIP-News Hosted PBX Comparison Guide, which presents a quick review of various hosted PBX systems from a number of leading vendors including Packet8, Bandwidth.com, Covad, etc. The guide compares features, services, benefits and cost to help phone system buyers with the right choice of a VoIP phone system.

Considering how important a phone system is for a business and the need for a system that can be scalable for future needs as well, a thorough review of the offerings is beneficial. This comparison guide certainly is one helpful aid in that direction (though you will need to be a registered user to download it).
