Logicube has introduced SuperSonix, a successor to the company's Sonix portable, hand-held, hard disk drive duplicator. Shipments for this new duplicator will commence in September.

Claimed to be the fastest hand-held duplicator in the market, the SuperSonix can deliver cloning speeds upto 6GB/min. The SuperSonix has a new colour touch screen and an intuitive Wizard function to step novice users through key cloning processes. Built-in support for SATA and PATA hard drives, USB connectivity and support for Firewire 1394B is featured. eSATA and microSATA drive support is also available with optional cables.

SuperSonix is compatible with Windows Vista and includes advanced software to provide a variety of cloning modes including sector-by-sector copying, selected partitions copying and copying-only data areas.

The duplicator comes with a one year standard parts and labour warranty.
Duplication systems company ILY Enterprise, Inc. has introduced what it claims to be the world’s first 6X SATA Blu-ray Duplicator. According to the company, the new product is the fastest Blu-Ray duplicator in the market, with a controller that is specifically designed and built for SATA connection.

This duplicator allows users to duplicate 10 times more data in Blu-Ray (50GB) than with standard DVD (4.7GB). Key features of the duplicator include: SATA Interface; 6X duplication speed; supports BD-R, BD-RE, BD-R DL, BD-RE DL, DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, DVD RAM, DVD+/-R Dual Layer, CD-R, CD-RW blank media standards; intelligent design automatically recognizes the source disc format; duplicator controller automatically formats BD-RE discs; and system is upgradeable via firmware.
Vinpower Digital has released a standalone, compact DVD / CD autoloader duplication system called The CUBE in a compact casing. An excellent addition to the Vinpower Digital line of automated duplicators, The CUBE is priced at below $500. It is very useful to to create a small to medium quantity of copies in a short period of time without requiring the user to manually load and unload the discs. One of the highlights of the new duplicator is its reliability, simplicity of features and multi-master recognition capability. Moreover, being a standalone duplicator, The Cube does not need a computer connection. Whether the requirement is for 25 copies of a single master or 3 copies of 6 different masters, the user has to set up the system just one time and leave it alone. The AutoCopy function enables the user to make quick copies immediately without having to preload the master into the hard drive. The CUBE has a 160GB hard drive.
To fulfill the surging demand for Blu-Ray duplicating and publishing, MF Digital has introduced three product lines with the Blu-Ray duplicator technology. The three new product lines are the Scribe Series Blu-Ray Duplicator solutions, the Director Blu-Ray Unique One-Off Publishers and 5000 Series Blu-Ray Copier towers.

The first two mentioned above have options with 2 or 4 Blu-Ray drives and labeling technology of PicoJet Inkjet, Prism Thermal or Dye-Sublimation direct to disc printing technology, while the 5000 Series Blu-Ray Copier Tower is a 6 drive stand alone system with network options for expandability.

These Blu-Ray duplicators and publishers are now available for delivery.

Since the retail industry has just agreed on the Blu-Ray as the standard Hi-Definition DVD format, the latest product offerings assume greater significance.
