This multi-function product, which provides printing, photocopying, scanning and fax capabilities in one robust unit, is suitable for workgroups of all sizes. Documents up to legal-sized documents can be handled using this MFP.

The monochrome MFP prints and copies at a high speed of 45 pages-per-minute (PPM) and 50 PPM respectively, with a first-print-out time of just 8.5 seconds and first-copy-out-time of only 7.5 seconds. Users can also print PDF and other image files directly from a USB flash drive using the USB direct interface, besides having the capability to save scanned documents to the USB flash drive. e-STUDIO450s/500s has a legal-sized flatbed scanner that can scan even bound books and reports. There is an integrated ADF as well, that provides efficient document input of up to 50 sheets.

Out of the box, the e-STUDIO450s comes with a10,000-page yield toner cartridge, and has a 21,000-page yield cartridge available as a replacement. The e-STUDIO500s ships with a 21,000-page yield toner cartridge, while offering both 21,000- and 32,000-page yield cartridges as replacement options.
