It switches on and off automatically, cleanly and precisely opens stacked letters at up to 250 per minute. Furthermore, the B300 accepts all sizes of envelope (in thicknesses up to 6.5 mm)  therefore manual sorting is no longer a requirement.

Additionally, the B300 has the skill of slitting as oppose to shaving envelopes.
