SmartBoard 2000i WhiteBoard 

Smart 2000i is an XGA interactive rear projection whiteboard presented in a self-contained unit combining projector and touch-sensitive screen. The rear projection system means you can’t interrupt the image by moving in between the projector and the screen. The unit can be wheeled around and between classrooms and the screen height adjusted for different users and activities.

The 2000i’s durable display provides a large workspace while the one-button operation makes start up easy meaning there is no need for extra, inconvenient hardware. The only tool you need is your finger – write, erase and perform mouse functions directly through the touch-sensitive screen. Three buttons on the pen tray give you immediate access to the on-screen keyboard, the right-click and help function.

However, it is possible to write and edit notes using digital ink if this is your preference. This is done by selecting from four different pens and the eraser that come with all SMART Boards. The pens are ready to write in four colours – black, red, blue and green – but you can reset each pen to write in a range of colours and styles using the board’s easy to use software. The pen tray automatically detects which tool you’ve selected. Write over applications, websites and even videos.

Use the standard SMART Board software to capture your work as a screen shot that can be edited, or save your notes directly into several software applications, including Windows versions of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel, or into AutoCAD software. You'll have access to thousands of free images and templates, interactive and educational content and advanced drawing tools and also it provides possibly the most helpful option, to pre-load your lesson plan to the SMART Board interactive whiteboard.
