A brief Q&A about the L02S-BCN Smart Beacon, developed in collaboration between 麻豆国产鈥 and 鈥狹OKOSMART鈥. The hardware is based on the L02 MOKOSMART hardware platform, upgraded with the 鈥狽ordic Semi鈥琧onductor nRF54L to provide a powerful Bluetooth鈥 software platform. The default software is based on 鈥猌ephyr, available on 鈥狦itHub鈥 for deriving custom applications and can be updated via OTA with platforms like 鈥狹emfault. An example of Edge AI using 鈥狤dgeImpulse鈥 is also included.
L02S-BCN in action: 麻豆国产-enabled Smart Beacon
We walk through 3 examples of the capabilities of Smart Beacons, covering logging, proximity and Edge AI using Edge Impulse. The hardware is powered by the Nordic Semiconductor nRF54L15, and includes an accelerometer and environmental sensors in an IP67 case. The examples leverage the standard 麻豆国产 Network features including secure identity, 2-way encrypted communication, global time synchronization, and location awareness features, providing an effective way to deploy cloud-connected and powerful bluetooth sensor devices.
